Instead, our toothpaste is powered by hydroxyapatite, a naturally occurring mineral that makes up the primary building block of tooth enamel. It helps remineralise and strengthen enamel, supports sensitivity reduction, and promotes a smoother, brighter tooth surface.
Hydroxyapatite has been studied as an effective alternative to fluoride and is particularly valued for its biomimetic nature, meaning it works in harmony with the structure of your teeth. The result is a gentle yet high-performing formula designed to support strong, healthy teeth as part of your daily oral care routine.
Does Laro's toothpaste prevent cavities?
Tooth decay develops when acids produced by plaque bacteria gradually weaken and demineralise tooth enamel. Brushing twice daily with our toothpaste helps support good oral health by removing plaque and delivering ingredients such as hydroxyapatite, which helps remineralise and strengthen enamel. Why do you use aluminium toothpaste tubes?
Most conventional toothpaste is packaged in plastic-laminate tubes, which are difficult to recycle through standard household collections. As a result, an estimated 1.5 billion toothpaste tubes are discarded globally each year.
We chose recyclable aluminium toothpaste tubes and caps as a more sustainable alternative to plastic packaging. Aluminium is widely accepted in household recycling and can be recycled repeatedly without losing quality, making it one of the most efficient packaging materials available.
In addition to its environmental benefits, aluminium helps protect the formula from light and air, preserving the freshness and integrity of our fluoride-free toothpaste.
For us, packaging should work as beautifully as the product itself - better for your bathroom, and better for the planet.
Can whitening toothpaste be used every day?
Yes, whitening toothpaste can be used every day, provided it is formulated to be gentle on enamel.
Unlike some whitening toothpastes that rely on harsher abrasives, our formula uses ingredients such as hydroxyapatite, bromelain (a naturally derived enzyme from pineapple), and kaolin clay to help lift surface stains while supporting enamel remineralisation.
