A toothbrush you use twice a day deserves more thought than it usually gets. Each Artisan toothbrush is made by hand in Italy, with a handle shaped and polished by expert heritage toothbrush makers, so it’s as considered as everything else in your routine.

We call its shape the Coccola, Italian for a cuddle, which is rather how it treats your gums. A compact head reaches the back teeth that a standard brush tends to miss, and the longer handle gives you control without pressing too hard. The handle is made from cellulose acetate, a plant-derived material, and hand-polished to a deep, glassy finish.

Why soft matters
Hard bristles and heavy pressure wear down enamel and gums over time. Ours are made from natural boar fibres designed to clean thoroughly without that cost.

Every toothbrush is made for Laro by Koh-i-Noor, the Italian heritage brushmakers, whose experts shape and finish each handle by hand. We partnered with them because the details you can’t see matter as much as the ones you can.
